Key chain

I recently did a swap with a friend and one of the things that she requested made was a key chain with pictures of her family. She even gave me a link so that I knew how to make it, which was a good thing. It made things really simple and didnt give me a chance to over think on what I was making like I usually tend to do,lol. I am not the best at explaining how to do things so its best just to go Here to get instructions. I left a spot for when her son is born so that she can add his picture to the key chain.

Altered notebooks

These are a couple of notebooks that I recently altered for a friend to keep track of things when her baby comes. One is also an altered notebook for her daughter to practice her writing in.

CKCB layouts

I only got 5 pages done with my first kit , but I really enjoyed doing the challenge. I think next time I put a kit together I will pick papers that go together better so it will be easier to work with. Cards

I have had some card candy laying around for a long time from a swap that I was in. I have been wanting to use them up and get them out of my way so I finally sat down and made some cards. They went really fast and were super easy to throw together and I am very happy with how they all turned out.

Random pages

I really want to start Project Life but I have a lot of older photos to get scrapped. So I am challenging myself to get all those pictures scrapped before I can start Project Life. If I dont have it done by around the middle to the end of July I am still going to start PO just because I dont want to wait any longer lol. Challenging myself like that must be working because I am getting a lot of pages done, they are pretty simple but I also didnt stress over them like I usually do so I feel much happier about doing them.

Birthday card

I couldnt come up with an idea for a card for my brother so I looked through my booklet for the Cricut cart Just Because Cards. This cart made it really easy to whip this card together. It looked a little plain so I "stitched" around everything to make it pop.

Baby card

My niece is hopefully going to have had her baby by the time this posts. She dosent know what she is having so instead of waiting I just made a gender neutral card. I got the idea for this card from Pinterest, I love that site!

Dry erase frame

I needed a quick end of the year gift for my sons bus driver, he loves her and we have been giving her gifts since he was in kindergarten. He is now in 9th grade so needless to say I am running out of ideas. I decided to make her a dry erase frame because not only have we never made her one but it is also super easy to do.

I love these cards! I made these as a gift for Sharon the bday girl last month in the swap that I am in. She likes vintagey, is that a word lol, things so I decided to do a dress form on a card. I used the Forever Young Cricut cart for the dress form and embellished it so it wasnt so plain.

Look at this awesome table

My son made this for me in shop class at school,  I LOVE it and he did an awesome job on it! It is already being used in my craft area,lol.

Wedding invites

These are the invites that I did for my niece, I had to do 100 of them and they took forever to finish. I got the original idea from Here and changed the sizes to make it cheaper by using an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of card stock instead of 12x12.

I have the best husband!!

I needed a better way to store my Stickles, I had them in a plastic container and I hated them in there. So my hubby made me a big Stickles stand out of foam board. I LOVE it!! It even has a little room for some more in the future. He is the best!!!

Hello Kitty card

I saw a challenge on Susanne's blog to use glitter on a card using an everyday sentiment. So I made this quick card for my niece who will be turning two this month.

Crystals NSD challenge

Thanks to Crystal I once again went  out of my comfort zone in making this layout. Her challenge was to make your background without using circles, squares or stripes. Easy for some to do but not so easy for me. I looked through my pictures to find some that would work for a one page layout because I didn't want to stress anymore than I was already lol. I found these sweet pictures of our dog Wimpers from when we first got him as a puppy. Then I sat for a LONG time trying to figure something out before I came up with using a dog bone mask and ink to make the background. It may seem simple to a lot of you but I am very happy with the way this turned out.

The song lyrics are what inspired me to do this LO, I put them on a flap and under them is where I put some personal journaling about everything my husband and I have been through. I dont do very many LOs like this but I really love this one!
